Sneak A Peek Inside Oprah Winfrey’s $90 Million Montecito Home
What Makes The House Special?
So what was so eye-catching about this home? For one thing, it has an interesting history. Before the Velozes bought the house, it was owned by John B.F. Bacon, the grandson of the owner of the Libbey-Owens Ford Company, John Baptiste Ford. The Bacons built the home in 1957. The Bacons built a ranch house next to a guest house that had been there since 1912. The 8,000-square-foot property and 6,000 square-foot guest house sat on 42 acres. Oprah would soon expand the ranch house into what you see pictured here.
